N360 Black Background

Hi,

 

I've been getting a strange black background on norton, with some icons missing. It isn't much of an issue when it comes to using the program since I am already familiar with the UI, but it is still visually frustrating and obviously not meant to be. This happened a few days ago, and it is getting quite frustrating because it wont fix itself after restarts of the program or my computer. Please see the image below.

 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be blacking out any personal information that might display. Good job

I'm going to drop back to my usual questions when I see improper displays. Your video drivers, browser and OS need to be current. If they are then we may have to dig deeper.

My video drivers, OS and browser (I'm not sure why the browser makes a difference, unless you're referring to something else) are all up to date - and if it helps my PC does reach and go beyond the specifications required to run this product.

Plerase select Support from the main Page of N 360 and then select Get Suppoprt.  Let it update and run and see if it fixes anything. 

 

If no joy, I would suggest running the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool.  Please be sure to Export your ID Safe Data prior to running the tool.

Ok, I tried your first suggestion and it came up with an error, so I'm assuming that won't be working.

 

I'm downloading the installer right now, but it's taking quite a while to download (and when I say a while, it's an understatement).

 

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll post when this is done.

 

EDIT: Aside from the long download time, reinstalling worked perfectly.
