Allow custom scan to remember user's last setting.
I was surprised that the software didn't remember the settings from one time to the next and simply reverted to its preset. There's certainly nothing special with the preset so you'd have to think that the settings the user changes the custom to are no worse and at best probably a setting that the user frequently would choose.
I wouldn't bother with a save button--just keep it simple and let the software remember.
