N360 & Identity Safe/Online Vault problem

OK, I've scanned for and read a lot of posts that describe situations very similar to my problem, but I haven't seen an answer. Some time ago (maybe as much as a year?) I attempted to set up an on-line identity safe, following the directions provided by N360 or the Identity Safe client (don't remember now). That failed. I was able to create a log-in to the on-line vault/safe, but as described by many, when trying to log in to the online account, I get a couple of different time-out messages. If I try to log by first closing my Norton account then logging in again, when trying to access the on-line safe, I first get an error stating that no vault is found but one can be created with the Identity Safe client. When I access the Identity safe from N360, I am asked if I want to log into the Local, or On-Line Safe. If I select On-line, the system times out. I cannot see any place to delete whatever was created on-line so I can start over. BTW, this happens whether I'm trying from my desktop PC or my laptop. All I want to do, of course, is sync the two computers!

 

Desktop is Windows Vista, laptop is windows 7. Both running N360 20.4.0.40.
