I currently have N360 Standard (3 user) installed on 2 Windows PCs and now I have reached renewal, want to change to N360 Multi Device to include an Android device.
I use the local vault in standard N360 to store my credentials and DO NOT want to change to the online vault (my main reason is that a credentials database of millions of users is a far more attractive proposition for a group of crackers than a single database stored on one PC). However, I understand that N360 MD must be a clean install onto a PC of the N360 Premium product and the product key can't be used with an existing N360 standard installation. The clean install of N360 Premium will force my PC to use the Online Vault.
Is there any way around this, or should I go and find another Security Suite, since it would appear that Norton has no intention of bringing back the local vault, despite their recent press release about millions of username/password combos stolen by Russian crackers? I wish I had the same blind faith!
