N360 not showing in startup or systray

This is a strange question, but for some reason norton 360 doesn't appear in the System Tray of my wifes Laptop. I checked the hidden icons function and made sure that it was to always show as well.

 

She is using Vista SP1 and Norton  360 v2.5

 

I've also checked her startup programs with msconfig and do not find anything stating that nortion should be there. That kinda doesn't make any sense to me. All of her services so as active and running, but nothing in the startup tab. Any help would be greatly appreciated/

You may need to uninstall the Norton 360 2.0 using the Norton removal tool and install the upgraded version- Norton 360 3.0 .

1. Download a Trialware of Norton 360 3.0 from this Symantec Web Page.

2. Go to this LINK and follow the instructions for uninstall.

3. You can install the trialware and activate it using the same product key of Norton 360 2.0. You can get it from your Norton Account. Run LiveUpdate repeatedly until you see the message that no more updates are available.
