N360 pops up on startup and randomly

Issue abstract: (Nearly) each time I log in to my laptop, Norton 360 (26.8.11125 (build 26.8.11125.0)) starts up and is presented to me. It can also startup and appear whilst i am working. Is this part of any on-going issue please?

fwiw ~ my understanding:
Norton released a backend fix for the Automatic UI Opening issue. Please run LiveUpdate and Restart the system to get the fix applied.

I last did that this morning but i will give it another go this afternoon.

To date i have run liveupdate twice yesterday and once this morning with not updates yet. Both my devices rare at 26.8.11125 (build 26.8.11125.993).

The fixes were described as backend fixes. So you will not see a change to the installed version of your Norton product.

Has running LiveUpdate resolved your issue or are you still getting the 360 UI popping up on system start? If you are still getting the popups, see my post here…

I will monitor the situation during next week.

No pop-up’s on Windows 10 Pro, haven’t tested Windows 11 Pro laptop as of this posting.

So far so good. I just had a BSOD on one of my machine so i only have one to check at the moment.
