I have some feedback and feature requests for N360 Premier and Nobu. First I want to say I love being able to backup all my data online via N360.
Feedback about features that don't work well for me or could be improved:
1. It is really a nightmare trying to find the Nobu site (nobu.backup.com). It would be nice if I could easily access that from N360 or find it easily from a prominent link within the Norton website.
2. Managing Backup Sets: Managing backup sets for older backups that are no longer maintained is impossible. As an N360 user I don't have access to the same features on the Nobu site that standard Nobu users have. I can't purge files or backup sets. I have several old backup sets from my last retail N360 key that are taking up space in my backup profile. It is confusing since they are named the same and have a similar file structure. It would be nice to have better management tools either on the web, from N360, or both.
3. Syncing/Importing Backup sets: If I have to restore a computer image and reinstall N360 it will create a new backup set online instead of giving me the option of syncing with a previous backup set. I would like to be able to sync to a backup set and have it restore any missing files and backup any new files to that set. This would allow users to sync multiple directory structures over several systems.
4. Recently after installing Norton Tiki on my Moto Droid and logging in I noticed not all backup sets were displayed. I went to the Nobu site from my desktop and noticed missing sets. I entered and then closed a set which caused the "missing" sets to display. I'm not sure if that is what cause the backup set list to refresh or if it was simply that the database and web interface needed time to update itself. If it was the latter it took several minutes for the "missing" backup sets to reappear after first logging in. This gave me the impression that N360 backup wasn't working properly.
