N360 v4 Backing up to a network connected NAS

Hello,

I have two laptops running N360 v4 one running XP SP3 and one running Windows 7 ultimate.  Both are set to backup to the same mapped network drive on the NAS.  I have run the backup at different times on both machines and each time when the backup reaches between 11 and 30 files the network connection is dropped and unable to be restored before the back up fails.  The network is marked as Trusted.

 

Forgive me if this has been resolved elsewhere I've searched Google as well as the forum but didn't find a solution that worked.

When you tried backing up online did you get Error: 8702, 32? I got this Error and what the Norton tech I just finished Chatting with said it is do to the Norton Backup servers are down and to try backing up online again today or tomorrow.
