After restarting my Mac a number of times and trying to uninstall and reinstall Norton, i am continuing to have problems with Norton 360. When i try to access Norton Antivirus from the quick menu, i get a screen blink, but the app does not open. Also, when i try to open Firewall, i get an error message that says communication lost, reboot and try again. Today, it has been one week of multiple support requests to Norton with no solution provided yet. Further, i received an email this morning from Norton about: We are making changes to our Virus Removal Assurance subscription. For new or renewed subscription terms that start on 9/23/2014 or later, the benefits of Virus Removal Assurance will be included at no extra cost in Norton Virus Protection Promise, a NortonLive Service that will be included with the purchase of certain Norton security software product subscriptions.
Due to this change and since you are a current Virus Removal Assurance customer who we value, we would like to offer you either a coupon offering 20% off Norton Utilities or a pro-rated refund for the remainder of your Virus Removal Assurance subscription.
You will still be able to continue to utilize the benefits of Virus Removal Assurance for the remaining term of your paid subscription and upon your next subscription renewal, you’ll be eligible for the full benefits of Norton Virus Protection Promise.
I am a first time visitor to this site, and haven't really had issues with Norton on my Mac until now. Insights appreciated while i am waiting for a solution from N....
