This happens every time a background scan runs? Which exact version of Norton 360 v2 are you running? Which operating system is installed as well? Could there be any malware in your system before you install Norton 360 v2? I apologize for the many questions; trying to figure out where the problem could lie. Thanks!
N360v2 version 2.3.1.4
Win XP Pro SP2
I'm running n360v2 for 5 months now, and before that I've used n360v1. Also scan my pc with various antispyware tools (portable versions from my U3 device).
If they all say it's clean, i'm gessing there is no malware.
I don't exactly know ehen it happens (since i'm not always looking which part of the scan is running and I don't sit behind it all the time)
With an interval of a few days my background changes to a standard blue screen and other times me powersave function doesn't work anymore since the settings are changed.. I'll post some screenshots as soon as it happens again.
