NAS problem

I use NIS 2012, and Windows 7 64bit

Since today afternoon I have problems accesing my NAS

From other computers (one with Windows 7 and no NIS, other with XP SP3 and NIS 2012) works fine.

All maps and files visible, I can navigat between maps, but can't open files, and can't copy files from/to the NAS.

When I disable antivirus auto-protect, all things work fine.

I tried to switch of a lot of smaller options (as check of network driwers, add the NAS driver lettter to the skip from controll lists, the options of auto-protect and SONAR), but they dosn't helpd me.

If I go to the Network Map, and change the security setting of NAS, NAS go totally unaccesibile, I must restart it.

Welcome gas24

Have you run LiveUpdate manually, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available?

Also you can check your installation of NIS by clicking on Support - Get Support. This will start AutoFix and may find any issue you might have with the installation.

Hi,

May I know what change you did on the network security map which made NAS unaccessible?

Have you tried remove and reconnecting the NAS? How you connected NAS to computer?

Thanks,

Murali

After change the trust-level of the NAS on security map the NAS is unaccesibile on all computers, must restart NAS to use again. NAS connected through two routers, fix IP. But it isn’t a big problem, I don’t want to change this setting, when NAS working normally.

It seems to me, that there was a problem with some updates. I was done yesterday all, what you suggest, but dosn’t helped… Today in the morning it’s working perfect. Thanks for your suggestion.
