NAT Says "Norton Security license expired"

I use Norton Mobile Security 2.5.0.384 (NMS) on my Android phone along with Norton Anti-Theft 1.3.0.122 (NAT). Just now, my phone prompted me with a warning from NAT: "Norton Anti-Theft has been disabled".

On further investigation, I found that SMS Anti-Theft Status was fine, but Web Anti-Theft Status had a big orange exclamation mark on it. Tapping on Web Anti-Theft Status leads to a message saying "Norton Security license expired".

According to NMS, I have "275 Days Left" in my subscription.

I'm tempted to say "forget it" since NAT has been nothing but trouble from day one, and it can't find my phone on a map anyway. So this is NAT's last chance before I uninstall it.

What's going on?

[EDIT: "Sneak Peak" doesn't work either.  It thinks my device is offline, even after refreshing the web page more than a dozen times. And my phone is definitely online, via mobile and WiFi.]

i'm having the same problem

I am having the same problem and it started yesterday.

Thanks for the reports lads (and possibly lasses).  I know that something similar seems to have occurred in relation to Norton Mobile Security recently and that the team are investigating a possible lead.  I also know that they will be monitoring this thread carefully but give them a little while to get to the bottom of it.  They may come back and ask for some more details from you so that they can get it fixed as soon as possible.  So keep checking this thread for any updates.

For the record: Norton Anti-Theft may need some work, but that doesn't change my good opinion of Norton products: Norton Internet Security, Norton Mobile Security and Norton Utilities for Android are still the best in their class as far as I'm concerned.

Even if NAT worked perfectly, I wouldn't pay $39.99 for that set of features.

I'd like to try and merge these two threads so we can better track down what's happening.  Could everyone take a look at the following thread and reply with the information requested?
