NAV 09 won't work against Trojan.Flush.A

This post has relation with http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&message.id=1080&query.id=215401#M1080

Recently my computer just got infected with the same trojan above named Win32.Alureon.gen (http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-US/virusenc/VirusEncInfo.htm?VirusName=Trojan:Win32/Alureon.gen).

And according to the link above, the symantec name (and actually symantec is the first one who found it) giving it a name with Trojan.Flush.A. However, as I follow the removal guide at http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2005-030413-5303-99&tabid=3 which seems is a very old article (2005). It didn't work.

So I wonder if this malware signature still exist in the NAV09/08 definition and can you give me the solution for this? Since I just bought the NAV09 yesterday and it just like giving a proof of unreliability.
