NAV 11.0.2 - Scheduled Product Updates Never run - manual updates work fine

Hoping somebody can help me with this issue as I haven't been able to fix it myself. I have a corporate licenced version of Norton AntiVirus for Mac installed on my Mac Pro (running Mac OS X 10.5.8). I used to have SAV installed but changed employers in May 2009 and my new employer's standard is NAV rather than SAV. So I un-installed SAV using the "Symantec Uninstaller" and then used the "RemoveSymantecMacFiles" script (v 5.4.7) to tidy-up all of the leftover stuff.

 

I then installed NAV 11 (which I downloaded in DMG format from my employer's internal AV website). The install went fine and when prompted, I let LiveUpdate run and install all of the available product updates. I then rebooted.

 

Everything is working fine except that my Scheduled Product Updates never run. Initially I created the scheduled updates using the 'Scheduled Protection - Configure' option inside the Norton Antivirus application. However, I noticed nothing ran (not the product updates or the scheduled scans). So then I launched the Symantec Scheduler app and noticed that only the Scheduled Scan was listed in the scheduled events window - the scheduled product update was not listed at all. But if I looked at the  "Scheduled Protection" options inside NAV, you can still see both the scheduled update and the scheduled scan!

 

So I used the "Reset Scheduled Tasks..." option in Symantec Scheduler and then recreated my Scheduled Product Update and Scan tasks. Both tasks are set to run on a weekly basis, but on different days of the week. Now the Scheduled Virus Scan (configured to scan my /Users folder) works fine and runs each week but my scheduled Product update never runs. It's scheduled to run weekly but never actually does. I tried deleting all scheduled tasks again and recreated them using the 'Scheduled Protection' option inside NAV. Now the scan task still runs but the product update never runs. In addition, I can see both the scheduled scan and product update task in NAV but only the scheduled Scan task appears in the 'Symantec Scheduler' app!

 

Running LiveUpdate manually always works and downloads any available updates without a problem. But it never runs automatically.

 

Please help! I've attached the output from running the 'GatherSymantecInfo' tool. Let me know if there's any other logs I should attach.
