NAV 11 creates Keychain on MacOS X

We have noticed that NAV 11 seems to have created a keychain called "Symantec" at /private/var/db/com.symantec/Symantec.keychain

 

What is the purpose of this file and why does it show-up in the keychain list of the Keychain Access utility?

Glad to see NAV utilizing native OSX technologies!

 

One last thing though. Is there a way for us to interact with the Symantec keychain? I  don't remember being prompted to create a password for such a keychain when installing or running NAV...

Interesting.

I've tried all of my passwords and I cannot view the keychain password.

I don't recall being prompted about this keychain item either.
