NAV 11 sold online with NAV 12 for Mac

I recently bought online a sub to Norton Antivirus for Mac. It was NAV 12, but said it included NAV 11.  Since I run OSX 10.6.8 (of choice, some of my software won't run on 12), I need to use NAV 11. The product as sent was NOT intuitive. Only NAV 12 shows up ready for download, and of course it refuses to download to OSX 10.6.8.  Okay, go to Customer help, and find lots of others have this prob. too, so you click the FAQ and voilà, a download package for 11 comes through. Okay, clunky and not intuitive, but okay. Load it onto the computer. Loads fine. Open, asks for Product Key.  Here's where the fun starts. The product Key sent with the confirmation email (and shown on my Member page) won't work. Presumably it is for 12 only.  So, back to Customer help. Three days later, having had frustrating talks with no less than six "live" advisors, ALL of whome freaked at the mention of MAC and sent me elsewhere, including somewhere where the script was in Chinese, I still have not advanced one step. I have tried everything, uninstalling the old NAV on the machine, re-installing the new package, etc.  I even tried clicking the "Refunds and Returns" button. But hey, guess what?  It sends you to live chat, where the guy asks you to tell him all about the problem you are having, then freaks because it is for a Mac…well, you get the picture. Norton wisely does not provide a mailing address, nor an email address for complaints. But after nearly two decades of using Norton, I am really fed up. McAfee looks better by the hour.
