Hi

Just installed NAV 2008 onto 5 laptops (5 user licence edition)

4 laptops are fine + will update their definitions.

1 laptop will search for updates, download updates but when it comes to processing I just get a cross ie it's failed.

Tried uninstalling/re-installing product to no avail - same error.

Windows firewall disabled for install.

Any advice much appreciated

Thanks

Jo

jo35,

Is this through manual Live Update or automatic LU? Are you getting any specific message or just the 'X"?

What operating system and what service packs are you using?

But what jo35 says, it looks like this is happening on the Manual LiveUpdate.

Hi

The client will not update automatically. When I run it manually I get the mentioned error.

There is no error massage, just the X. Os is XP Pro, Sp2.

Thanks

Try this link as a first step. It will update you to latest version of Live Update.

Thanks, I'll try it but I wont be able to do this until Tuesday so wont be able to let you know how I get on until then.

jo35,

Understood.  Also be sure you are running the latest version of NIS 2008 which should be 15.5.0.23.

Have a nice weekend.
