NAV 2009 Intelligent update says no product found

I downloaded the current version of PC Wizard (zip version) from www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php

This is a commonly used system information application.

After I'd extracted the zip file, NAV quarantined one of the files (settings.exe) and reported it as heuristic Suspicious.MH690.A

I was surprised as CPU ID is generally considered to be a respectable site.

However, I sent the sample file to Symantec and they reported back that they had determined that it did contain a Trojan ('

settings.exe applies to the 20 current Bloodhound detections in the engine'). They instructed me to download and install

symrapidreleasedefsi32.exe

Download was OK. On double clicking on the file, the installation started with a box 'SARC Intelligent updater' 'do you want to update your virus definition files', clicking yes on that, some file extraction took place but then the install aborted with a message starting

'No updateable Norton Antivirus product was found'

Does NAV 2009 not accept intelligent update files? Or does it mean that my Liveupdate definitions were already up to date (but if so why was that file flagged as heuristic instead of Bloodhound?)

I do find it odd that Symantec instructs me to install a file that then refuses to install, I had told them that I have NAV 2009.

I have informed PC Wizard developers. I had no problems with previous versions of that software.
