NAV 2010 Classic - XP Sp3 - Thunderbird 2.0.0.25
During a scheduled scan of the drive where TB's mail files are located NAV detected and removed 4 trojans, referred to as Trojan.Sasfins (in my case, zip files which contain .exe files doing bad stuff if executed). I had manually deleted these (2) incoming messages, but they were still in Trash. And, as I hadn't compacted the Inbox before I ran the NAV scan, I presume they were still in the Inbox also (2).
Question: during a regular drive scan, does NAV open Inbox/Trash to find and remove these infected messages, and, if yes, can NAV do so with a 100% certainty of not damaging these files? If I lost Inbox, no so good .. even though I could restore from Quarantine.
Thanks, CBA
