I recently replaced Kaspersky Anti-Virus with NAV due to a latch-up issue that lasted about 10-15 mins on startup. I uninstalled Kaspersky, installed NAV, which worked for about a week before causing MAJOR slowness in all applications: chrome, windows explorer, and everything else. The NAV and other application displays will freeze and I will be unable to do anything with the application. I've unstalled and reinstalled (and used kaspersky AND norton uninstallers) multiple times and it's the same issue every time. I've run both uninstallers from safe mode as well.
I'm running windows 7 home premium, SP1 on a Pavilion DV7 HP laptop. I've considered other applications could be the issue, but every time I close or remove NAV the issue stops completely. I'm basically unable to do anything when NAV is running. I just very recently purchased NAV so since I don't know how to find the version number with it uninstalled, I'm going to assume it's the latest version.
