NAV not excluding

I have a program (SuperScan) that's part of my network troubleshooting "toolbox", and NAV keeps flagging it as a threat - even though I've set it to "Exclude from Scans" in the Settings menu, and also do that every time the warning pop-up appears. How do I fix this annoyance permanently?

My virus definitions are current, and the version is 21.7.0.11 if that matters.
