I have Norton AntiVirus Online - on running LiveUpdate it downloaded a 186 MB file and started processing the updates. It got as far as "processing update 4 of 6" where it stayed for about 45 minutes (normally completes in 3-4mins)
1. Realistically, How long should this take?
2. Can you set a throttle somewhere so it doesn't suck up every drop of cpu cycle? It runs flat out at 100% of cpu in the resource monitor. Can't do anything while this goes on. It's like the Virus has won! Not that I have a virus, but this is almost as bad;
