Today Win XP and/or NAV Symantec Framework (ccsvchst.exe) had some kind of error, that resulted in Data Execution Prevention shutting down Symantec Framework. There was also some association with the dump tools Windows Error Reporting Tool and Dr. Watson Debugging, both of which I think happened immediately before the DEP shut down Symantec Framework (or possibly at the same time.) I had accessed the Symantec Help Files through the NAV GUI just a minute or two before, but I"m not sure if that had anything to do with it..
I was wondering what the significance of this can be. I have done scans in safe mode with NAV and Malwarebytes, which were neg. I plan to download and run SuperAntiSpyware. Thanks for any info.
