NAV09 running full scan in background - can I pre-empt?

If I click to run a full system scan, while the background scan is running, will the new scan pick up where the background scan left off, and will the background scan then stop?

 

I'm running NAV09 with Windows XP, SP3

No. If you move your mouse, press any key the idle time scanning will stop. After that clicking on a new full system scan it will start from the beginning.

So, the background scan, if I move the mouse and it stops, then I leave it idle, will it pick up where it left off, or will it have to start over too?

It will pick up where it left off.
