I post this here in an effort to evaluate how my NAV2008 protects me on the net
My wife, much to my paranoid displeasure, enjoys facebook. She and her friends play the word scramble games and take the survey( you know the "which kind of car are you" type of stuff)
Of course I have heard that many ofthe apps contain spyware and thus plead (to no avail) that she not mess with that stuff
so in an effort to give me peace of mind, if such apps contained spyware, keyloggers, or other malware, NAV2008 functions would protect us right ( if it is a know problem)?
I also understand, and correcr me if I'm wrong, that NAV2008 and newer have other detection methods that go beyond specific defs and sigs and can determine issues based on behavior type analysis of malicious types o thing, right?
