We are using a program called GeeDee. GeeDee needs to be setup on the client machines with a mapped drive called 'G'. The 'G' drive is not allowd to have antivirus scans, since it has it's own internal algorithym to scan for any anomalies. If any AV does scan it, problems occur because the BDE database engine is in 'G' drive along with the working file.
We have recently installed Norton Antivirus 2009 and GeeDee is experiencing errors that do not occur on the two computers that do not have NAV 2009 installed. On the computer where NAV2009 is installed, we have entered the 'G' drive as an exception both in the scan exception and the auto protection section, but this has not solved the issue.
Is there any other area in NAV2009 where we can enter other exceptions including the local office network?
