I have finally figured out that NAV2012 is preventing my two Windows XP SP3 computers from being able to open any file on my local network server (Windows Storage Server 2008). I can browse to and see all of the files just fine, but when I try open one (txt for example) I get an error message saying "The system cannot find the file specified". If I disable NAV's Autoprotect this problem goes away.
I have two other computers running Windows 7 also running NAV2012 and they do not have this problem.
