Hi, Thanks, but I had seen that post already. The files and folders are all present as they said they should be. And when I try the USB stick in my desktop 32 bit windows XP machine it works there --- but not on the Windows 7 64 bit machine that it was created on. Any other ideas woud be appreciated.
also in private a Symantec employee sugested to check if the earlier mentioned NRT.exe and NBRT.exe are digitally signed and signature is valid ( These files should be signed with valid Symantec certificate) but problably they are if it works on win xp machine
The digital signing for those 2 files looks OK. I tried Symantec chat with technicians yesterday, but they do not seem to have training for Norton Bootable Recovery Tool. Wasted a lot of time...
QUESTION:
Has anyone successfully tried to boot from a USB flashdrive which was created with Norton Bootable Recovery Tool
SPECIFICALLY ON A 64-bit computer? It would really help to know. Thanks!
