Currently running NAV 2005 (yeah, I know, it's a dinasaur), on Windows XP. I entered my info into the upgrade link on Norton and the only upgrade options were:
1. NAV 2010
2. NAV 360
3. Renew existing subscription
I was kinda thinking about NIS because of an issue I had here:
http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&thread.id=81248
So, 2 questions.
1. Should I pick #1 or 2 from above, or scrap the upgrade idea and spring for NIS and get the 3-fer package? (I have 2 other laptops I could put it on that have more up to date AV, not Norton), or is there another option like NAV 2009?
2. If I opt for anything other than the upgrade, I know I have to uninstall the old NAV 2005. I know there were some issues in the past with it not uninstalling properly, so how would I best go about doing that; add/delete programs or is there an uninstaller for 05?
Sorry, just had question #3 pop in my head.
3. If I do the non-upgrade, do I uninstall the old one before or after I download the new one?
If it helps, I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest way but I don't want to throw money away either.
