Thanks :-D Phil is currently offline, but he'll probably log into the forum in another hour or two; thanks for your patience :-)

Thank you for such a quick reply

Hello venom and welcome!

Based upon your source code, it appears that you are using a template based site design program. Often this type of program will not allow the HTML file to be properly uploaded to the root directory. I do see the Safe Web meta tag on your home page, but it is located outside of the head element and is missing the proper closing. It should be located between <head> and </head> and should end like this: ....34u0rtk"/> but currently ends like this: ....34u0rtk">. Note the missing /.

If you are able to make those changes, the verification process should work. However, there is enough information in place for the Safe Web team to manually verify ownership for you. I shall notify them and ask them to check it. Allow them a day or two to respond back to you in this thread.

Be sure the code remains in place until ownership is verified.

One last note. When viewing your site in IE8, the images on your home page are not displayed and have a red x in the placeholder. Everything looks fine when viewed with Firefox 3.6.3.  You might want to check into that.

To be notified by email when a reply is posted, go to My Settings > Preferences and check the box for: "Automatically Subscribe Me to Topics I Participate In".

Thanks very much for that info. When I edit html in my web page there doesn't seem to be any <head> sections so it was a bit of hit & miss. I tried again with the missing element but to no avail. As for the problem with IE, I will have to ask the tech guys at my end. Thanks once again for your help.
