Need help with error 8506.421

Every few days Norton stops working and I get error 8506.421.  I uninstall and reinstall (done this about 12 times already!) only for it to happen again in a few days.  I have contacted Norton via chat on 3 seperate occasions and allowed each tech access to my computer to fix problem only for it to reappear again a few days later.  Any solutions that work?
