I have a jigsaw puzzle website, with over 17000 downloadable jigsaw puzzle files (Windows .exe). They have all been prepared by me on a clean machine, using the same software for over five years. I've had no problems with malware until a couple of weeks ago, when Norton Safe Web starting showing my site with three files supposedly infected with ADH.2 trojan. I asked for a re-evaluation, and the site was declared safe. Now there are supposedly more of these ADH.2 trojans (on files that have been there for some time), and the site is being blocked again. At the same time, the individual Norton PC software started blocking the download of some or all of the files.
I know these files are clean (as Norton found when they re-evaluated my site for Safe Web), but it looks like this situation is going to keep recurring. I can't very well submit 17000 files for individual evaluation. How do I break out of this loop? Is there some way to get the Norton algorithm changed for both Safe Web and PC Antivirus to stop blocking these files? The surfers are getting frustrated, and so am I.
Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.
