So I am right in assuming NUP could be inactivated for 4-6 weeks which would be the interval between turning renewal off and on? Since renewal comes as much as 45 days in advance of the expiration date?

That would be my assumption. But I have not seen anyone that might have tried this. I have seen posts where the NUP did disable when automatic renewal was disabled.

I have a paid NUP subscription so I have not had the opportunity to test this.

Question for Peterweb...

My understanding is that Norton Utilities Premium is active only if you have an active renewing other subscription. If renewal is turned off then I assume Norton Utilities Premium. will be deactivated and not useful until next time you turn on automatic renewal.

So I am right in assuming NUP could be inactivated for 4-6 weeks which would be the interval between turning renewal off and on? Since renewal comes as much as 45 days in advance of the expiration date?

Thank You.

I take it you purchased a new product key each year for 30 pounds. The last time you activated your new key, you were set up for automatic renewal. It is noted in the instructions but you might have missed it. The renewal prices from Norton are always more expensive than purchasing a new product key.

You can contact Norton Support and request a refund for the automatic renewal, and then make you usual purchase. Just be sure that you go into your Norton Account after you activate your new key and turn off Automatic Renewal and remove your payment information.     www.norton.com/contactcs
