Need Help with IDM Firewall Permission in NIS ...

Hi Everyone,

I use NIS and recently had to re-install the program IDM (Internet Download Manager).

Problem is now when IDM is supposed to automatically download a file for me, I am receiving an error message "'IDM Integration" extension cannot transfer the download to IDM Error 0x80080005."

{Please note: I have attached an annotated PDF file to this post that contains a screenshot of this error message, as well as the NIS firewall program access control screens (discussed below).  Thanks.}

When I google this error syntax, IDM says that I must manually configure IDM for "full access" with a firewall program rule in NIS.

When I try to set this up in NIS, NIS tells me that a rule for IDM is already created (which it is, when I check).  The rule gives IDM "full Access", however one thing that I noticed about the rule is that the "Owner" icon of this program's rule is different form my other NIS firewall program access rules.  The owner icon on this rule is that of a person, whereas the owner icons of my other rules (which are working correctly) are icons that show a computer screen.

I tried google, but so far have not been able to find out the significance of this difference (if there is one), and why NIS is not giving IDM "full access", even though there is indeed a rule in NIS (with that different icon) that says it does grant IDM full access (because IDM is still giving me the same error message and not automatically downloading my files for me.

Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.
