Greetings! Here's my ongoing problem. At 50% of "Lost file recovery", I had 63,000 files, 80% of them showed the "Green Dot-Fully Recoverable". Once recovered, I've tried the following: Recovered them to: an external drive..or..a new partition on drive "C"..or..moved them to the recycle bin, then to the shredder. I've also tried reformatting the external drive ( having first checked to be sure all the files are on the external). Then I do the "slow format, not the Quickie. I have sat and watched as the external drive goes back to 100% free space. Easy, right? May I repeat: I recover to a non-system related drive, then either delete the files to the recycle bin, then use the "Shredder" or go directly to "reformat drive" and wipe the drive clean. WRONG! If I go back to "Recover lost files" I can RECOVER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM and I'm back to square one! What am I missing here? I don't expect 100% of the recovered files to be deleted because some of them have the "Orange Dot" and some have the "Red dot...Not recoverable". But when I can recover all of the green dot files over and over again....this tool seems usless! Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! Ken R.
