Hey guys and gals:
I uploaded two pictures to try out the image gallery. I set them to private where they wouldn't bother anybody else and forgot about them until tonight when I checked. They were unacceptable. After diligently searching the participation guidelines, and terms of service, the only information I could find was that size was specified by the community. It isn't specified anywhere I could find it.
I redownloaded the photos in a much smaller size to see if that was an acceptable size. Apparently they were avatar size and since I can't have an avatar (is that specified anywhere) the photos were again unacceptable, private or not. This is reminiscent of the RCMP laundry bag. You had to have one, it had to have "Laundry" written on it in 2" black letters, but you weren't allowed to ever have laundry in it.
So to prevent further errors, and since I'm not getting any info anywhere else, could somebody tell me:
What is acceptable?
Is the image gallery only for the purpose of storing photos of Norton screenshots and/or avatars?
Why are there no specific guidelines for the use of the image gallery or the photos?
What is the acceptable size limits for any photo?
Do we actually have to upload photos on a trial basis to see what doesn't get whacked in order to get useful information?
I suppose if you tell me, you'll have to kill me!
