Need Spam filter to protect blocked ports

I have an issue using Norton Anti-Spam with Outlook 2010. I need SMTP  465 POP3  995 spam filtered (Verizon is my email) but norton can't add these ports.  How do I get the spam filter to work?  I'm getting over 80 spam a day!  Most from repeat senders!
