Have 3 licenses, only using two, I know one is mine, want to know which of our other PC's is using the second license.
Hi 4913,
This can be checked only by validating the subscription days of the product installed on your machine.
This info cannot be accessed from mynortonaccount.com.
Just open the product UI in the other PC, Main UI shows the subscription days. If its activated it would show number of available days and if its trial it would show as Trial. Similarly you can get this info by clicking on the Account tab from the main UI as well.
Regards,
Prasanna.
I'm sorry but I do not know what UI means.
"User Interface"; just pull up the main Norton screen, either through Start Menu or a shortcut, or by double-clicking the little Norton icon in your System Tray at the bottom of the screen.
But I read what you were asking as wanting to verify which specific instance is installed on which specific machine. Which is correct? Are you trying to identify which two machines are activated, and which ones are not yet--or are you trying to tie a particular machine to each license you have in use?
Hi 4913,
Just double click on the Norton Icon on the desktop, it open a window in that you can observe the things which i mentioned in my earlier post.
regards,
Prasanna
OK Thank You, I get it now.
Now the story. A family member in school received a new computer from Dell because their old one was behaving badly. In exchange Dell took back the old PC. My second license was attached to that machine, how do I get it back, de-activate, what ever needs to be done so I can give it to another family member.
Ahh, OK--that is pretty straightforward: just contact the helpful folks of Norton's Live Chat customer support staff, and they can free up that second license in no time!
