I'm a Comcast user and i installed Norton Security suite provided by Comcast to its users. Unfortunately during its first sweep, it deleted an exe file of a free notation software I've had for awhile tho' rarely use. The software didn't even ask if I wanted to save the file just zip.... gone...
Question #1 - Is the file permanently deleted now?
Question #2 - Is it stored somewhere on the HD? I've searched for it with Win explorer to no avail.
I attempted to 'chat' with Nortons tech people and must've gotten the most stupid person on the planet who kept asking me if my computer was infected or had I recently been D/L'ing games, etc... I fully and clearly explained what happened and only wanted the simple questions answered.
