I was on myspace only using the browse feature and not on any profiles ( I was trying to locate my sister who I haven't seen in almost 2 years). When I got the pop up from NIS2010 that it blocked an intrusion. When I clicked on the details it popped up that MY computer was the attacking computer (also listed my IP addy) and the offending URL was http:// google .analytics.com.eliyisgtkaj.info/nte/AVORP1KAV3.py and then a bunch of other letters and numbers. Destination Address was http:// google .analytics.com.eliyisgtkaj.info (174.142.53.148, 80) Traffic description was TCP prt 65124. The attack resulted from Disk\Harddiskvolumn1\Programfiles(x86)\ MozillaFirefox\ Firefox.exe. NIS also gives me the option to stop notifying me of future attacks. Running scans right now with updated NIS2010 and also MBAM. My other computer and my Wii is on my network, but they were both turned off while this attack happened. So one of my questions is Are they safe since they were off and is there any future concerns with my computer attacking them when they are turned on. Should I even worry about the Wii? Of course I am a little neurotic about the Wii since hubby got me Silent Hill Shattered Memories for V-day and I don't want my system to corrupt.
My other question is since its blocked, did it block the attack to my computer, or just my computer from attacking and is it actually still on my Harddrive since it stated it the attack resulted from hardiskvolumn1\.....\firefox.exe?
My computer is HP pavilion notebook/ 64bit/ Windows Vista Sp2..all Flash/Adobe/Java up todate.
