I'm having a problem with Ghost 15 on my home network (2 PC's running Win 7 HP 64bit).. wired through a router.
I want to do a backup of my C drive to a folder on the remote PC. The folder permissions have all been set properly for everyone to access it with read/write permissions. I can access the folder and copy files to it over the network. This has been tested. The problem is that when I installed Win 7, I did not enter a password for the user as it is only being used by one person (my wife). So when I try to set up a new backup and follow the wizard, it asks where I want the backup to go. I am able to enter the folder on the remote PC. But then it asks for the user's name and password since it's over a network. With no password, I can't get past this box to continue the set up process.
Any ideas? I assume I could create a password but my wife doesn't want to do through the process of typing it in every time she turns the PC on. I guess I'm looking for a way to tell the set up wizard there is no password.
Thanks for any help with this.
