Network Security Map forgets device names?

I understand new devices get assigned either their NETBIOS name or a "NEW" label when found in the Network Security Map.

What I found is that Network Security Map seems to frequently forget names for those devices I rename, presenting them as "NEW". Sometimes this happens even as I close the map and open it immediately after.

Said devices still have the same IP addresses and obviously the same MAC - some of them are even using static IP.

Why is that Network Security Map forgets these names?

Running Norton 360 20.2.0.19 here...

Thanks for your reply, but no, this is not something related to the CMOS. The specific system this is running has no problem keeping time, connectivity or related.

Please check the file attached to the original post for a clear image of the problem.

The fact is Norton 360 Network Map seems to forget the names assigned to networked devices (regardless of being NAS, routers, smartphones, etc).
