Issue abstract: Contradiction with advice

Detailed description: I received the latest Norton 360 Delux build after rebuilding it by w11 o/s.
The default advice from Windows is to select a Public Network so that my computer remains hidden. It also advises this in most cases. Norton seems to recommend the Private setting and so has increased my security and restricted access for some riskier application. My question those is how can I identify which apps have been restricted and in what ways?

The Public setting is actually the more restrictive setting. You might want this if you use this computer in public locations. If you only use it at home, the Private setting is sufficient as long as you trust everyone that you allow to connect to your home network.
