THE WORST BEHAVIOUR EVER. Never use Norton Backup. Restore corrupts date/time stamp and sets it to restore date. 150,000 FILES WITH THE SAME DATE AND TIME STAMP.
This is the way it is supposed to work? Other backup programs (including windows default backup) do not do this.
I was using an external disk. 100,000+ files with the same date time retored is not appropriate recovery of data when I was out of sync by three months from loss of disk (and had a three month old image).
That enhancement makes your product unusable for anything but a single file restore. Get a grip.
I'm not certain what you're referring to in regards to a product enhancement. I made no such claim or statement. Getting modified dates back exactly the same as they were has definitely been low on the totem pole for feature requests.
You've got to be kidding !!! I can't imagine ANYONE who would not expect their files to retain their dates. To not keep files dated would be totally ridiculous !
