Hi killyourtv same thing here it was still crashing so I looked at the mozila support forum and found this suggestion to uncheck hardware acceration in the flash player. to do this play a flash vidieo right click select from the dropdown settings uncheck hardware acceleration
Thanks, I'll give that a try. Hope it works. This whole crash thing is unpredictable, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
Hi Killyourtv I still have the flash player crashes with firefox not as bad but still happining. the news that I have read about the problem is that adobe and mozilla are working on the problem with no timetable about when it will be fixed.
Hi, ALF60. I was looking at Firefox support pages yesterday after you mentioned them and was surprised to find a suggestion to uninstall 11.3 and install 11.2. Aren't there security issues in 11.2 that were resolved in 11.3? I was thinking that there were, and if so, I'm disappointed by the suggestion to revert to a less secure version.
So far I haven't had another crash, but I also haven't had a chance to browse much either.
Is anyone else who is using Firefox 13.0.1 finding that your browser is losing focus on some pages with Flash content? As an example, if I go to http://community.norton.com/ I will sometimes have to click inside the page again in order to be able to scroll the page. Doesn't happen every time, but quite often.
Hi killyourtv I noted the suggestion about downgrading to 11.2 on the mozilla site while on the adobe site they do not advise to downgrade to 11.2 but to keep the 11.3 version for the security fixes that 11.3 has. ALF60
