@Krusty13: TY... I will check those 2 settings out on my real PC later. Or it's my fault? I overinstalled the ccleaner.
I've just tried the following steps in a vmware station: performed a clean install of ccleaner > disabled the said Monitoring options > disabled ccleaner using the said Startup management tool > restarted > worked.
Or, you would also encounter an error msg - !@$#%@! I should have made a screen shot of that... :( Now, I am unable reproduce that error box.

And, one thing I don't like about the new ccleaner is that, I just unable to disable it from running w/ my system - seems that it re-created its name automatically. Oh, yeah, I tried using msconfig, even its built-in Startup management tool.
well, ccleaner should be set to detect the install of Chrome first. Hehe...
Or, I will be able to run two builds of Chrome on my computer?

I believe if you already have Chrome / Toolbar installed you don't see them included. It's been that way for a while on my machines. The only time I see Chrome offered is on a fresh install, not when updating.
Hi 20750065 The chrome download checkbox is still there I downloaded and started to install and got the first window that PhoneMan shows with the checkbox. Note I have not seen the chrome adon checkbox in all the installs that I have done.
I have the Vivaldi browser which uses the Chromium engine and CCleaner identifies it as Chrome and does clean it. It also has a new install screen. Click on Customize and then More to see all install options.
