A New Ccleaner # 5.21.5700 has been released for more info and to download go to http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds (link is external)     7.8 mb in size. You're welcome ... may help some other users too.

One tip if you find it sluggish in analyzing and cleaning -- right mouse click on the Norton Taskbar Icon and select Disable Autoprotect -- 15 minutes is usually plenty. But I enable it again when I know I've finished.

This seems to have most effect in Windows 7 and less in 8 and 10.

Hi Hugh  thanks for the info . I have seen the same thing too so I have been careful to watch where the download comes from . And so far its only been one time that  I have noted the Filippo download url.  When I download ccleaner from Piriform  I usually get the download from them. ALF

If you don't like downloading from FileHippo, which Piriform defaults to in my experience, after you have clicked on the Free Download, click on Downloads in the heading bar and select CCleaner there.

That produces the matrix again, select Free Download and it comes down from Piriform's server ....

I'm not certain you cannot go direct to the Download button but I know I tried it once and it did not default to Piriform's servers.
