Ever since Norton force down the new GUI I have had a host of problems. (Someone at Norton must be really proud of his new GUI creation.) I am going to vent all of them now because I do not have the patience to enter a new problem report for each complaint. 1) My first complaint is that I cannot Chat. Each time I click on Chat I am returned to “Contact Norton Support” page. 2) I have paid for five licenses. I have only used three of them. With all the problems I have had I have downloaded and run NRnR.exe many times. Somehow Norton thinks I am now using four licenses. 3) My machines have two accounts, an admin and a user. On one of my machines, in the user account in the bottom left of the GUI my name appears over “Active”, whereas all other machines and accounts show “Account” above “Active”. I cannot change it. 4) I do not leave my machines running all the time. I also do not remain connected to the internet except when I need to. So when I connect I got into the habit to run a Smart Scan as soon as I connect to the internet, just as the old GUI suggested. On one machine, in the user account the Smart Scan hangs. In “Step 3/3”, “Advanced Issues” it scans to 97% “Let’s see what else we can improve…” 5) When I turn on my machine, bring up the Norton GUI, and connect to the internet I go to Security and run LiveUpdate. Most of the time I am in a user account, so I am required to enter the admin password. The old GUI did not require this and I see no point in changing the protocol.
Der er nogle fejl og ting de kan rette de er sendt vider forvent at der sker noget i 26.1 da de har hør på forslag om forbedringer men om det sker ??? Men det er sendt vider plus de fix også mange andre fejl i den her opdatering
jeg har hørt at de går all in i 26.1 men som jeg siger jeg er ikke sikker da det kun er en ide jeg har da det ikke er sikker all in betyder også at de fejl i design der er nu vil de nok rette du skal jo ikke tro jeg sidder med en patch note fra norton men jeg tror det fordi jeg fik at vide at jeg bryder nda for norton 360 uden at vide at jeg var under nda så et eller andet må de jo arbejde på noget der er anderledes som jeg ved men husk det er kun en ide jeg ved jeg er under nda til norton utilities men den er ikke brudt men det tyder på de laver noget til de 2 minimum men som sagt jeg ved det ikke
det blev ikke 26.1 det kom i de har planlagt det hele men det er rykket til 26.2 måske 26.1 miner men det kommer det
er sikker de løb bare ind i problemer så de ikke kunne nå det store problemer alt for store problemer støre end du tror 5 hotfix plus mere det skulle laves inden 26.2 men hvordan de laver dem ved jeg ikke men det er derfor at 26.2 er den rigtige big
