All Intel CPU device owners PLEASE READ. These updates are NOT offered via Windows Updates, must be installed manually. Take note as well, older CPU's have in the past been prone to performance issues with the installs. Please read the bulletins for further information BEFORE installing the patches.
Cheers
I don't see anything referencing cumulative, they are targeted at the specific Windows 10 version(s) and the CPU's groups that may be running on them. I cannot find the older reference article at the present time, I believe Intel is forgoing updating the MC for a bunch of older CPU's having done so in the not so distant past. An option for those CPU's is updating the BIOS if the manufacturer offers an update. That was discussed here some time ago. Two of my older machines fell into this catagory, one had a minor performance hit. I might add that the machine is an AMD Phenom II x 4 CPU. My Lenovo laptop was running an 4th generation I5 Quad-Core CPU and was in the same category.
Cheers
Are these patches cumulative? Does it include previous microcode patches, or do you need to install all of the older ones as well?
I installed this one on this PC but my laptop misses out as it has an old Arrandale CPU.
