New Knowledge base advice on Anti-Theft in NMS

I am grateful to VinodP for the latest update to the knowledge base but would like to ask for a clarification particularly on the  "scream" command.

I am told in the latest post that I can send "scream" from my buddy's phone to make the phone scream.  That is, there is no need to send a password if it is from a buddy phone.  However I have apparently not got the same functionality if I am using the locate, lock or wipe functions.  We seem to already have some confusion over the ability/need not to use the password from a buddy phone with the unlock command.  The NMS app internal instructions say that the scream command is "scream your password".

Is there a duality on the scream and unlock commands but not on any of the others, depending on whether you are using a buddy phone or not?

At the moment the latest VinodP advice on the knowledge base seems to be slightly at odds with what is in the app itself.  Or is it just late and have I missed something?

Hi Andmike,

Thanks for reporting this. I have edited my post.

Thanks for the update VinodP.

As a result of reading your post I have marked this thread "solved".

But should the advice on "Using the SMS Anti-Theft features of Norton Mobile Security" not also include advice on "unlock" about which we have had more questions than anything else?

Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah. I agree that we get most of the queries for unlocking the device. Perhaps, that is the reason we already have a dedicated thread for unlocking the device. Having said that, adding the unlock help to the "Using the SMS Anti-Theft features of Norton Mobile Security" thread would certainly help users. I am updating that thread.

Thanks for the extra bit on "unlock" VinodP.   :-)

I want to know that, do the Garmin devices need antivirus? Kindly let me know. I have recently brought a Garmin device and install Garmin express on my device to access the Garmin device.
